Todd founded Otter Mortgage Team because he wanted to bring joy to the mortgage process. An industry that is all numbers and rates and stress and fear, Todd believed there is room to do something different…to do something better. And hopefully, to help his clients bring joy home along the way.
Prior to Otter Mortgage Team, Todd earned his stripes in the industry over two decades in the Lowcountry where he worked his way to a sales team lead position, trained over 100 loan officers, dedicated his time to education and advancement, and found his belief in succeeding by helping others.
Before moving to Charleston, Todd lived in incredible locations around the world, including a cattle ranch in Washington State, beachfront near his mother’s home in Australia, a (section of a) castle in England, and incredible cities throughout California. Now you can find him in a converted barn on Johns Island with his wife and rescue pup Rutabaga. When he’s not taking loan apps, he loves surfing, bad horror films, a hazy IPA, and live music.
